Silly Girl

Here is a few silly shots of our silly little girl. I haven't had the time time touch them up so I'll just post them as is. As you can tell Talitha went to bed early tonight so I'm using this time to catch up my blog a little. Great Grandma has been asking what's going on with T lately.
Talitha always pulls her lower lip in. It's super cute and quite silly looking. I'm hoping when she gets more teeth they will push her lip out more. = )
"Does this diaper make my butt look big?"

She held this string in her mouth for over a half hour that day. She is desperate to chew on anything she can get in her mouth. I have to get bumpers put on our fire place, not because I'm worried she'll fall, but instead to keep her from chewing on the stone ledge.

Fun With Food

Talitha has decided she wants to skip puree baby food and go straight to solid food. Preferably what ever it is that we are eating at the time. We have tried time and time again but this is the face we get any time she is offered baby food. And after about 3 tastes she rufuses to even open her mouth anymore and bats the spoon away.
Doesn't matter pureed fruit, vegis, anything.... but give her an apple and she's happy...

...Or some celery and avocado...(I've found it less messy to spread the avocado onto the celery - like you would peanut butter instead of giving her the avocado to eat herself)
Or just a chunk of zucchini and she is loving it. Although she will eat the mushy vegetables from my soups every once in a while like carrots, beats, sweet potatoes, and celery. These are the only mushy vegis she will eat. Hey, I don't mind skipping purrees as long as she will eat healthy foods I'm happy!!

Making New Friends

We have a new neighbor, we don't know his name yet but he stops by at least 8 to 10 times every day. I've decided we need to give him a name him since he visits so often. At first I thought we had several humming birds coming by, but then I realized it's just one and he sure gets thirsty often. Talitha loves looking out the windows in our living room. At first I didn't think she could see the humming bird, but now I've noticed she at least can see his movement and will even go to the window sometimes when he comes by.

More pictures of our fun with food to come soon.
