Helping Me Pack

To think we have all these toys for her to sit it and play but she prefers a cardboard box! She only lasts about 5 minutes in her excersauser, walker chair, bumbo, or high chair and yet she stayed in this box for over 20 minutes playing with her chew toys.

1st Two Teeth

Talitha cut her first tooth Wednesday (Nov 23rd) while we were down in Oregon visiting family last week. Then the second tooth came in just days later on Saturday! She's been so good and has hardly complained. She's a little more clingy but other than that you'd hardly even know she is cutting teeth.

Sorry it's pretty much impossible to get a picture of her teeth yet. Maybe later.

We started Talitha on quinoa cereal tonight. I toasted it, ground it up, then cooked it. I did not add anything to it. By T's reaction I think tomorrow I'll try adding some of Mommy's milk to see if that will sweeten it up to her liking.

Places To Go

This has been a big week for T. She went from learning to sit up with out a pillow, to scooting across the floor, to full on crawling, to being able to sit back up from crawling all on her own.

And then tonight she tried solid food for the first time. I'll post those photos soon!

NASA

While we were in TX we decided to go visit the NASA SPACE CENTER

We took a tram tour around and learned lots about mission control, the training of the astronauts and how things work there in Houston at NASA.

These tables are in NASA'S astronaut training center and the sticker on the tables say "To Prevent Falls Do Not Sit On Edge Of Table " Really?? Are there that many astronauts falling off tables during their training that they felt the need to put these warning stickers on the tables??

PS. I'm not exactly sure how I didn't get any pictures of our Aunt Barb with us at NASA?? I'm pretty bummed out about it. It was so much fun spending the day with them and hanging out at NASA we can't wait to go back and see them all again!

Moving on up... To the east side

We are moving!! Noe did a side job for a family in Kenmore building barn doors for their second garage that houses their boat. The couple is very nice and I got a chance to meet them when Noe forgot his keys at home and we had to take them to him. Long story short...They offered to rent us this house for practically the same we are paying now and so now we're going be moving in January 1. I'm sad to be leaving our neighbors the Givings and our congregation but this house will be a good move for our family. It's a 4 bdr 2 ba on Lake Washington in Kenmore. It's quiet and beautiful up there. The school district is great and the most important thing we will feel safe in our neighborhood. Lately there was a drive by police shooting just 9 blocks from our house that killed an officer (you've probably seen it in the news), another policeman was stabbed only a couple months ago only 3 blocks away from our house. Not to mention several break-ins in the area. I'm very excited to be moving into a house even though it's a little farther away, but I welcome the quite life of the lake and woodlands. = )

Let The Baby Proofing Begin!

We can hardly believe it's starting already. She started moving and scooting on the floor last week when we were down in Olympia. Now she can get pretty much go anywhere on the floor that she wants to and it's usually in the direction of her basket of toys. This morning she was able to pull the basket over and dump all her toys out on the floor. So long to my little cuddly baby that would let me just hold her, now she just wants down so she can explore.

Sorry So Long

I know it's been a long time since I last posted. I have plenty of photos and a video I want to post. I just need to find the time to get it organized and on here. We went to Houston TX to visit family and spent a day at NASA. Taltitha is growing so fast and is even starting to crawl!!!! Yes at 5 1/2 months our little girl is crawling. I can hardly believe it. A friend of mine said "Early crawlers = early walkers = early destroyers". I can see it happening already. Our living room is small and Talitha has this incredible fasintation with my exercise bike. LET THE BABY PROOFING BEGIN!!!

We are moving at the end of December.... But I'll write more about that exciting news later.

Any Excuse For A Snow Suit

Noe just couldn't wait for it to cool off enough to put Talitha in her snuggy snow suit. Since it's been cooler weather he finally got his chance. We got up early on Sunday and walked to the coffee shop. It was pretty chilly so Noe decided that we needed to dress Talitha in her snuggy suit. She looked pretty darn cute and stayed nice and toasty warm on our walk.

Going Out In Service

Talitha is starting to spend more time in the ministry with us. Now that we have a new car seat that she will travel in with out screaming we have made it out in service a few times. We are usually only able to get out for about an hour before it's nap time, but she's doing really well and our friends love having her join us.

This video is a little older, Talitha has been able to walk with assistance for about a month now. I'm just a little behind posting any video or pictures. If you play it with the volume off you don't have to hear me sing. =)

4 Months Old!!

Our little girl is 4 months old now! She has found her feet and loves to tug on her toes. She is also finding her voice and experimenting with with soft and loud sounds. She's also started rolling over now. I just got video of it today and will post it soon. She rolls almost immediately when placed on her back to her tummy. She grabs her little feet and rocks to the side to propel herself over. It's just all going by so fast I can't hardly believe it's been 4 months. I was looking at pictures of Noe holding her and feeding her at 1 week old. So tiny then I miss it, but I love this new phase too. What a blessing our little Talitha is.

Want To Be A Big Girl

Even though her feet don't even come close to touching the ground she loves this wheely chair and will sit here and play with her toys happy as can be.

Flying was no problem for Talitha. She slept both on the way there and back. We look forward to going back again soon.
