Mechanically Inclined

I remember being younger and watching my dad work with his tools.  I loved the socket wrench set the best because of the cool noises it made when I used it.  That and the big plumbing wrench.  Talitha loves to watch and help her daddy fix and build things too.  Here she is with daddy putting together our new bed frame. 

Angelina Ballerina

One of Talitha's favorite cartoons is about this little ballerina mouse named Angelina.  Talitha always asks to put on her party dress and then she will dance along with the cartoon.  It's really cute.  She also loves to dance to classical music and more current music too.  We are all looking forward to the next time we can go back up to Bellingham, WA to see our friend who preforms in a dance troup.  Talitha loves the preforming arts just as much as we do!!

Spring Fair

Talitha LOVES the fair.  We drove around last year looking for a park and ran into the Monroe Fair last August.  She has not stopped asking to go back to the fair ever since.  Seriously nearly EVERYDAY she wakes up and asks is it sunny?  Is it August? Can we go to the fair today??  So we were so excited when we found out there is a Spring Fair in Puyallup.  This year she was tall enough to ride all the kiddie rides.  Noe got to take her on all the rides since they won't let pregnant people on...Not even the slide.  We had a really great time!

Learning through play

Talitha figured out the heater vent can make things fly. She started by tearing up Kleenex then she tried balloons. She plays with the vent all the time now. I thought it was so neat that she figured it out all by herself. .... Oh and the grinding noise in the background is the sound of the guys working on the deck outside.

Fun With My Friends

Sophia and Aleia are 2 of Talitha's best friends. They are awesome and LOVE Talitha, and Talitha LOVES them. Sophie is 1o and Aleia is 14. Here we are playing with rocket balloons!

1st Science Experiment

Talitha discovered that when ice melts it turns into water. She was fascinated.

It was really cool to see her conduct her own science experiments!!

And the best science experiments are those you can eat when you're done.
And don't you just love the morning hair do!!

So I made my very first snowman today. Here he his with Talitha. But she decided she wanted a snow-woman.....

So we made her into a snow-princess

and built her a castle!

We made a snowman but Talitha decided it was more fun to smash it then to leave him

The only way I could get her to come in to warm up was to tempt her with coco and a sandwich

We are looking forward to the next two full days of snow to come!
