Talitha loves my camera and wants to use it every time she sees it. I found this kids camera at Costco and it works!! It's an actual digital camera. You can down load your pictures and edit them on the camera. It's super durable and Talitha just loves taking pictures of everything!

Back In The Kitchen Again!

I was inspired the last time I went to visit my friend Tiffany and her two adorable boys. She made us all a pancake breakfast and it was delicious. I can't remember what kind of pancakes exactly but they were healthy and I remember she added ground flax to the batter. Lately while feeling so ill all I have been craving is take out. It's been really difficult for me to do much cooking at all. This pregnancy is so different than the first with Talitha. With Talitha I was eating very healthy. Lots of vegetables and fruits, fish and healthy proteins. This time all I've been able stomach is breads, bananas, home made bean burritos, and take out, take out, take out.

Now that I'm just starting to feel better and get my energy back. I'm no longer camped out on our couch and I really want to get back to cooking all our food myself. So today drawing from the inspiration I felt that day at Tiffany's house I made pancakes for me and Talitha (and #2). I have made whole wheat oatmeal pancakes before but this time I also added flax and I added some molasses to the batter with some cinnamon. I was a little worried at first but they turned out FANTASTIC! With the added protein in the oatmeal and the iron and minerals in the molasses and the omegas in the flax these are power packed SUPER FLAP JACKS!! One of Noe's favorites is pancakes so I made extra for him to have when he gets home from work today. I think he will gobble them up just like me and Talitha did.

I am very excited to be back in the kitchen again!

Getting Bigger

I am now 14 weeks and the baby is the size of a lemon. Although it feels more like the size of a football to me. But the good news is I'm starting to feel better now.

The Little Baker

We baked chocolate chip cookies ... with out the chocolate chips. That's how Talitha likes them. Of course we did make a couple batches for Noe that have chips too!!

Talitha didn't like the flash so this is the smile face I get when she looks at me.

And the mess got bigger

"Look! I'm Mommy....Blllaaaaghhhh"

Sick!! Sick!!! Sick!!! And Talitha thinks it's pretty funny to watch and then when I'm done she pretends she's me and bends over and say's "Look, I'm sick too Blaaaagh!" I was sick when I was pregnant with Talitha for 4 months, but nothing like this time!! Which leads Noe's mom to think it's a boy this time. I've had to take medication to minimize the throwing up and even though it helps some it does not make me feel any better any more. The first week I was taking the zofran it helped me feel better .. now I just throw up once or twice a day instead of every time I eat. I have had about 4 days of feeling good in the past 2 months. Today and yesterday are 2 of them so I am hopeful that I am on the upswing of things.

Yaay.... I feel good.... so now I can catch up on laundry, dishes, and cleaning...... yaay fun.

10 Weeks - Here we go again

Here is the 1st picture of our little gummie bear. The new one is due to arrive around May 5th. We won't find out if it's a girl or boy until around January. I have been miserable these past several weeks with the worst nausea I've ever experienced. There have been many days where nothing will stay down. Today is actually the first day in a very long time that I feel surprisingly great! I have so much house work and laundry to catch up on that it kind of takes all the excitement out of feeling so good. This new one was a surprise to all of us, but it's a wonderful surprise and we are all very happy to a have a new family member on the way!! Talitha too, she hugs and kisses the baby in my tummy all the time. She is going to be a wonderful big sister.

Fun With Ace

These were taken back in August back in Oregon waiting for Jacoby's arrival.  Ace has these really cool tunnels that we had tons of fun playing in.

First Time To The Fair

Riding to the fair in style. We actually headed out to find a new unexplored park late this morning and wound up an hour later running into the fair in Monroe. Talitha was so excited to see the ferris wheel and we had to go in and check it out.
We saw so many things! There was the One Man Band....

She had so much fun riding the only 2 rides she was tall enough to ride in the entire park.

I could hardly believe she was all ready to ride by herself. She loved the race cars!

It was so funny to see her make friends. This boy was giving her the thumbs up and she is saluting him back. It was pretty cute!!

And the food was awesome!! Noe got a huge turkey leg and I had corn on the cob. Talitha ate her fair share of both!!

We also brought our salad and watermelon that we had packed for our picnic. MmmmMmmm!

By the end of the day with no nap, Talitha said she was ready to fall asleep in the wagon as we walked back to the car.

I know her better than that though. She waited until after we got home before finally crashing out. We had such a good time. It was a nice surprise to have such a fun family day!!

Dinner Cruise

On our way to the Argosy Tillicum Dinner Cruise! We were all very excited for our 4 hour adventure to begin!!

Talitha loved being on the top deck where she could see all the boats and para-sailors in the warm breezy sunshine. She really wanted to para-sail when she saw them flying in the wind.

The sunset was so beautiful on the way back to Seattle. We really had such a great time!!
